Taking Nana around the valley while Bev and Brett are gone

Nana, whose 98, and I went to the copper mine, Saltaire and the marina.  We had a great time.

Great Salt Lake behind me and to my left with the Saltaire to my right.

A reproduction of the original Saltaire.  The first two burned down and the third one has flooded.  The first one had a roller coaster, roller rink and the largest dance floor in the country at the beginning of the last century.

Lunch with Geraldine Shields and her daughter Joann in Draper, Utah.

New Watch bands

Made some watch bands and stretchy bracelets that I'm putting into my yard sale next week.  I hope they sell.  The best way to get a picture was to put them inside the top of a box.  Everything else seems to glare from the camera flash.  These look pretty good.  They are different sizes.

finally done

I have finally finished the first of two baby/lap quilts.  I have a little more to do on the other and will post photo when finished.  I have also done some hair barrettes.  All are for sell.  Let me know if you're interested and we'll talk about price. I really need to figure out a way to get better shots.

The bows are on the back of the quilt.
Quilt with borders and quilting done, but no binding yet.  This is the finished one.
Back of quilt before binding is added.
Quilt number two with border and no binding. Binding will be done soon.
Malachi, supervisor of my work, holds down Christmas quilt I made in October 1994.  Not for sale.
Finished quilt on table to see close up and with finished binding.

little girl's hair bows

I know they don't look like hair bows, but this is how they start out.  First you wrap ribbon around dowels, use fabric stiffener and let them dry over night.  So this is the first part.  I'll post pictures after the bows are finished. I'm sorry the pictures aren't the best, but due to the fabric stiffener I was working over foil so as to not make a mess or ruin my table.
